Control of Hazardous Energies Training
GWO COHE - 3 Days
Hazardous energies pose a high risk of injury to all workers working within the wind industry. One reason is that hazardous energy is present in various forms in both a wind turbine and wind farm environment.
With an emphasis on company-specific rules and procedures, along with national and regional legislation, CoHE training provides a common basis for understanding and isolating specific components of a wind turbine.
CoHE combines Basic Safety, Pressure Fluids, and Electrical modules.
COHE - 3 Days - $1500
CoHE - Basic Safety
Through theoretical and practical training, students will learn to work safely around hazardous energy in the wind industry and perform assigned tasks.
Includes:
Safety (PPE, Lockout Devices, Signs), LOTO, Mechanical, Electrical, Pressure Fluid Overview, Scenarios
CoHE - Electrical
The aim of GWO’s CoHE Electrical Safety training module is to enable students to perform assigned electrical tasks safely and efficiently, and support themselves and others while working with or near electricity.
Includes:
Safe Practices (PPE, Devices), LOTO, and Techniques
CoHE - Pressure Fluid
The Pressure Fluid Safety module helps students perform their jobs safely and take care of themselves and others when working with or near pressure fluids. After completing the training, participants will know how to reduce risks when working with pressure fluid components by choosing proper safety gear and following safe work procedures.
