Basic Safety Training
GWO BTT - 4 Days
The Basic Technical Training modules focus on essential skills for working on a wind turbine. Basic knowledge of key skills will prepare new and experienced technicians to work in the field.
BTT combines Mechanical, Bolt Tightening, Hydraulic, and Electrical modules.
BTT - 4 Days - $2000
BTT - Mechanical
The BTT Mechanical Module is aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to perform basic mechanical tasks safely, following proper PPE and safe working procedures. With these key skills, work can be completed in the field under the guidance of an experienced technician.
Includes:
Mechanical Safety, Principles of bolted and welded connections, Hand tool use, Turbine components and systems
BTT - Bolt Tightening
The Bolt Tightening module provides practical experience and prepares students for company-specific bolt-tightening training by utilizing scenario-based instruction.
Includes:
Scenario-based skills for bolt tightening, focusing on safety, feedback, and hands-on skills
BTT - Hydraulics
By following safe work procedures and appropriate PPE, students will gain the knowledge and skills to perform basic hydraulic tasks under the supervision of an experienced technician.
Includes:
Hydraulic Components, Safety, and Testing Equipment, and hands-on skills
BTT - Electrical
The BTT Electrical Module provides foundational electrical knowledge and skills for technicians. Its key components and theoretical concepts address a broad range of technicians' job requirements.
Includes:
Theory, Safety, Electrical Components, Measuring Tools, and hands-on skills
